In-Depth Ship destruction tutorial that goes through every aspect of Hoduini Tool-kit for RBD Destruction and Scene Assembly of Massive Scenes with Limited Hardware !!!

This tutorial will take your empty houdini scene to a completele epic Sci-Fi Sequence. It will show you how to render the best possible way for optimum memory usage as well as fastest possible renders. We will use;

  • PDG

  • SOLID SOLVER

  • RBD Bullet Solver

  • Pyro Solver

  • Pop Solver

  • Custom Solvers

  • Python

and every other aspect of Houdini 19.5

This tutorial uses Redshift3D , but same workflows are supported with many other render engines including Mantra and Karma

All custom models and scene files are also included.

Videos are recorded at 4K and 60FPS with HIDPI Scaling on.

TOPICS COVERED

  • Automated PDG systems for caching and baking

  • Terrain Tools

  • Scatter Systems

  • RBDBullet Solver

  • POP Solver

  • Pyro Solver

  • Disk Based Instancing

  • Python for File Processing

  • Performance Management

  • Shading and Rendering

  • Redshift Look Dev and Lighting Workflows

This tutorial starts from an empty houdini scene, walks you through the terrain system to prepare a crash course where our ship will crash.

Then goes in depth on creating assets to scatter, just from a few primitive shapes , We will then start blocking our cameras, and simulations. Solid Solver method allows any type of mesh to be simulated even if they are not simulation friendly.

This is truly a massive Tutorial where efficiency meets mastery which enables a Home Computer to be able to realize such a scene, where massive farms were needed back in 2012 Days.
